The weekend is at an end, again. *Groans*

I wish I have something more interesting to write about, like I used to, but hey, at least now there's more things about myself that I can talk about, which is of the good, innit?

Uh, in case you can't notice, I've gotten the coloured contact lenses I've been eyeing for awhile. Well, they're not the true blue I orginally intended, but instead an aqua colour, but I always have next month's prescription to change colour =]

And yes, Jen has another favourite colour besides black that is, surprise surprise!, blue.

Yup, almost 21 years into my life, and today was the 1st day I tried on contacts. It's still taking alot of time getting used to, but I could always dump them for the new pair of specs I had made today.

Oh, and I've bought new heels again!



Shoes are fast rising to be 2nd to my bag fetish, so yea, I'm bound to buy at least 1 new pair every month at payday. Lol.

I know, I know... It's boring how most of my entries nowadays are all "Oh I did this today!" "Oh I got that yesterday, ain't it cute?!" All ditzy-like; if I was blonde it'll only act to the effect, so just bear with me for a bit, yea?

Anyway, I kinda got hooked to watching clips on YouTube recently. Way friendlier than Google, anyway. Here's 2 particular "series" I've been following - Soup of the Day movie, and Hard Gay.

*Gasp!* New hair, again!

Although I'd promised myself that I'll rebond my hair sometime in August, I got persuaded into perming my hair. Again.

Yes, I did perm it in February. A trip to the company's panel of doctors for a free medical treatment today resulted in me spending $130+ instead.

I only wanted to know their charge for colouring and cutting, and somehow I got persuaded into doing digital perm because the ladyboss mentioned my Achilles heels - how bad my permed hair had looked.

So now... Instead of a hair-colouring and cut like I intended, I have this now:



How, any comments? >_> Frankly, digital perm isn't that much of a difference from a normal perm. And it costs a bloody hell lot more.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the way it looks now, because every hair-trimming I go to results in shorter hair. I just hope it'll look more au naturale when I colour it next week.

Payday's on Friday.... :) Hurray!

Oh yup, I didn't go to work today. *GASP!* It seems that I have some sort of viral infection; My flu that has bugged(no pun intended) me for the past 3 weeks gave me viral infection in my inner ear drum, which affected the bit that maintains my balance, thus resulting in my giddiness.

Confusing, I know. But...

Tempting, oh so tempting... But I've decided to work tomorrow. Hardworking, aye?

Man, here I am, given a chance to not see that Zie bitch from work, and I still trudge on. I ought to be bronzed and displayed in public for all to admire! Lmao.

I'm finishing my 2nd ice cream for the night and I'm getting suspiciously hyper. *Giggles and bounces on her bed* Heh :P

I guess my body demanded the sugar intake after a bloody exhausting day at work today. Or maybe it's my weak spot for ice cream, I don't know. Either way, its definitely not of the good for my waistline.

Or for my wallet, for that matter. I'll only get my pay on the 28th, and I'm currently $370 in debt O_o Gave my mum $100 for Mother's Day only to borrow the money to pay for the Mother's Day dinner. (Irony, I know.) And there's also the $150 I spent on 2 skirts and a belt last Saturday.

I definitely need to spend less on skirts. I've not gotten any new tops in months, but I bought 4 skirts recently. And they are all so soddin' expensive! =l

Anyway, I've got my staff pass today! Go me!

I think it was our vice of smoking that truly united us in the first place. They are really laid-back and friendy people, and Eric is eeriely like the male version of me in respect of our characteristics. Too bad Eric and June work all the way at Eunos now.


By the by, I'm training up my Hokkien right now. I'm not very sure myself, as to how the interest and urge to improve my dialect came about, but as per the usual young Singaporean, our dialects are really bad, even though we understand the language.

I'd recently upgraded my 'Hokkien grade' from D7 to C6, and right now I'm a C5, I guess.

Next target, B4 :D

Hence, don't be surprised if the next time you talk to me, I request you speak to me in Hokkien. Unless you're Cantonese. I'm looking forward to improve my D7 Cantonese to a passing grade too ^_^.

Hehe... Well, my honeymoon period - 2 weeks of full day trainings - has reached the end, and now I'm officially back at work.

Even though I do miss the 2 hours lunch breaks, I certainly did not missed the hours that seemingly dragged by; It's only about 1 1/2 hours till I knock off, and I'm still rather energetic.

Or maybe its because my subconscious knows that it will be another long weekend :D~

Yesterday was GED. General Elections Day, not General Education Diploma.

My congrats to those whose favoured parties won at their GRC. I think my Hougang and Sengkang buds are quite happy :D

Of course, my area is still PAP. Its not as if I like the fact that PAP monopolies the parliament, or that I got to know the different parties, but PAP was everything and everywhere since I was borned, so it'll feel weird if AMK was won over by SDA.

Besides, Lee Hsien Loong is the PM; Who else to have more weight around the parliament to speak up for us than he? He might not, but its still my mindset.

By the by, my condolences to Nee Soon Constituency. Your MP spoke like one of those Ah Peks who drinks at kopitiams every night, and all he did, when interviewed, was use his broken English and repeat 1 point constantly. Cannot speak Chi ni, meh?

I'm not using my usual computer to check my blog, and I realised it's filled with popups now! How come, har?!

I host my background and icon pics with photobucket, I use emblem for the song player, and the tags have been there for ages and caused no problems for me.

I've been having a bloody cold all week, and now my blog is collecting dust and popups. Grr!

By the by, check out this site. There's commands even for "fart", and "shift" gives you this really hilarious reaction where the headlights give you the 'eyebrow' and shifts from side to side for ya. Damn cute.

P.S: Didja know I'm disfigured for life now? Nah, not the face, but my thigh. I fell and skidded on the road last Saturday. I don't wish to go into details, but let's just vaguely say... It's kinda like a stuntman move where I was dragged on my right side for a few metres on the tar road, ending with a lousy cartwheel roll on the floor which I give only a 4.0 to.

Right nasty, I know. I have wounds on my foot and hand and one big area of the skin got scratched off on my lower right thigh, and they're all still hurting like a sodding bitch. It'll discolour even if it heals properly. No skirts for a month for Jen Jen!

Yep, all in all, I was quite proud of my efforts. I was always known to be a lazy sod, after all.

Okay, so maybe the food was actually not filling enough, but it wasn't too inadequate. After chatting and watching them play winning eleven, we went over to MOS at about 12.30am, and stayed on till 4am.

About MOS... Wellllll... All I can say is that this old bird still has her charms that she didn't know still exists. 3 guys approached me that night. One was an engineer from LTA whose namecard was quickly discarded by Mel, one was a Bollywoodish Indian, and his Greek friend.

I'm not implying that I'm gorgeous or whatever, aiight! This woman here has a problem, and a gradually worsening problem at that.

One day, I could turn out like this!
